The Last Stand Charter and Rules:

-No Cheating-

|TLS| Members will not use any known or unknown cheats/hacks or exploits. We Pride ourselves on our skill, ability and our honor to play the games we support fairly.

-Don't be an Asshole-

We're all friends here, so use common sense. Be considerate of clan mates,making jokes is ok, but don't push the limitations of jokes and insults. As a |TLS| member, hold the |TLS| clan in high esteem. This mean exercising sound judgment while in our forums, other websites, and while gaming in with or without |TLS| tags in our server or others. Finally, remember being a member of |TLS| means that your actions both reflect and represent our clan as a whole

-Age Restriction-

Because of our casual and mature nature, often our forums and TS are not suitable for those under 18. So if you are under 18, |TLS| cannot accept you as a member. Family members of |TLS| members in good standing may be granted limited access and participation rights.

-Rank-

Why have a ranking system? We feel that the basic rank structure is a tangible way to remember and be respectful of the contributions of our fellow members. Also they give individuals a sense of the command structure, so they can easily identify who can take care of any issues that arise. Without these contributions our clan would not have the atmosphere we have all come to enjoy. For those that help sustain, expand, and better the group we have a system in place for both promotions and achievement ribbons. Here are a few factors that we help to determine this:

-Participation-

-|TLS|, like other gaming clans thrives with the participation of its members.
-To be an active member you need to visit the forums and post sometimes as well. Most of the information about the clan and everything that is going on, is available to read up on in the forums.
-Teamspeak may be required (special circumstances understood) for scrims/matches or scheduled events by game CO. Other than that, it just depends on your own degree of wanting to interact with the group. Aside from the communication tool for gaming, hanging out just pubbing while on Teamspeak is a good way to really feel like this is your clan.
-Matches, scrims, or scheduled events are important but it is just as important to get together and just do some pubbing or play games.
-There are no mandatory donations, you can contribute with participation and helping fill the servers in lieu of money..

-Chain of Command-

We're friends here (not a dictatorship), but there is a Chain of Command. If you have a problem with a member, try to work it out between yourselves. If that doesn’t work, bring the problem to your game Commanding Officer.

-Removal/Elevation of Members/Leaders-

To maintain a body of people dedicated to the smooth operation of The Last Stand, should a Leader leave, or wish to step down, for whatever reason, the remaining Leaders and Game COs should have a unanimous vote to elevate a member to the role of "Leader". The number of Clan Leaders should be kept at a useful and reasonable level. A Game CO may also be considered for this role, requiring a unanimous vote by the remaining Leaders and Game COs.

The removal, creation, or assignment of a Game CO requires a majority vote of the Leaders and other Game COs. The kicking or banning of a member from The Last Stand requires a majority vote of the Leaders and Game COs. The kicking or banning of a Leader from TLS requires a unanimous vote of the remaining Leaders.

-Allegiance-

Moonlighting or having membership in another organization utilizing the same simulators as |TLS| is not allowed.

-Is all that above really necessary?-

To keep The Last Stand the thriving gaming community that it is, yes. The above expectations will not necessarily be understood or displayed by our newest members at first. However, the majority of the members live up to these simple expectations on a daily basis. As we gain new members who want to share in this, the Charter is in place to help guide them. The Charter in general reflects the feelings of The Last Stand Clan as a whole, as we all want to be here to have fun and game with our friends.
